Better property management starts with the right systems.
We're flexible about your setup, but every property must work within our systems. We don't require identical equipment — we require every property to meet the same operational expectations.
A smart lock (preferred), an electronic lock where you enter each guest code in the HelotStays app before the deadline, or documented on-site staff or key handover — always with backup access.
Use our cleaners or your own. Every cleaner follows the HelotStays cleaning workflow, checklist and readiness confirmation.
An exterior entrance camera with authorized access. Indoor cameras in guest spaces are never permitted.
Working smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors where required, and required fire safety equipment.
Remote temperature control where heating or cooling exists, and privacy-safe noise monitoring for entire homes.
Reliable Wi-Fi for guests and the devices we use to manage your property.
Required permits, registrations and short-term rental insurance, with documents on request.
Urgent repairs are covered by your property wallet's protected reserve, so issues are fixed without delay.
After you sign in, each property shows its standards checklist. Send details for each item and our team verifies them. Alternatives are welcome when they meet the same goal — safety and legal requirements can't be waived.
New properties meet the standard before going live. Properties we already manage have until December 31, 2026 to complete any open items.
Effective Date: February 6, 2025
